As the homeless population growns in America, they need to be revered for who they represent, all of us. The homeless in a America, especially those who are healthy and able, represent what can only be defined as True American Patriots unwilling to be enslaved and only willing to renengage with society if the society is fair and equitable in return. - The House Always Wins

Marine and the Hippie 2300307- Tuberculosis Mary 2023 – The Marine and the Hippie
In this dialogue, we discuss a recent story about a woman who has tuburculosis and refuses treatment for her disease. She has been dragged into court 16 times because she is knowingly spreading the disease, a treatable but deadly disease in her community. The discussion turns to the tension between civil liberties and civic duty. At what point does one's personal freedom end? At what point does a society have an obligation to lock a threat to public wealth, welfare and order away to prevent them from harming the community? At what point does a person who flouts any sense of civic duty lose their liberty? All these questions are raised in this discussion about modern society, where we pay attention only to liberty and do not seem to be interested in performing our duty to others around us.
